Am i missing something?

I'm looking to get FCS2. Is there any reason I can't buy it in the States and register/use it in Blighty? (the UK..)

Someone told me that Adobe gives you problems registering their software abroad but does FCP do the same? The fact that it's $400 more expensive over here seems to suggest that it's not that simple, but it's crazy for us to be paying so much more.

I dont think there would be any problem with that. However, it might void the warranty of the product.
