Dude! (and everyone who's reading this!) Is it my imagination, or are the site layout colors different now?? A lighter blue... It's much easier on the eyes, and a little more appealing IMO... But I just noticed that, and was wondering if this is a sitewide thing, or if I'm going color blind! :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

Yep, you're right... I do... workin' on that, OK! :) I must say, girls are impressed with the whole "filmmaker" thing, lol... but that's not always enough.
 
LOL... there's no one line... it's always a conversation I steer to "So, what do you do?" and then... "Oh, I make films".... then from there go on to talk about my latest film, yadayada, check out the website, yadayada... they check it out... they're like WHOA!!! They email or call, or IM, and are like all impressed, and so far that's really the farthest it's gotten :( Maybe I'm doing something wrong... well, whatever... in time I am sure if I am supposed to have a GF, one will come around :)
 
maybe it is at the website where you go wrong. invite them somewhere a little less virtual.

show them your grip equipment.. or ... invite them to an ADR / foley session and have them create some sound effects for you.

or you can always have them play with the knobs on your mixer. that has worked for me..
 
hm... I've invited a few on set.. showing them my grip equipment is kind of unimpressive and boring, don't ya think? I don't know... as I said, it'll happen in time... I'll be patient and just chill :)
 
There's a difference between "forcing things" and waiting for a girl to come along who shows interest in you and allowing her to chase you. Is that what you're looking for?

Did you 'force' "Smuggler's Ransom" to be made or did you wait around hoping things would fall into place? I'm not advocating starting a relationship for the sake of being in a relationship. In fact, I don't really know what I'm saying. I'm just sayin'...

no, no, I get your point man... totally... I'm not saying "sit around" either... there's a balance that has to be balanced (lol)... I just know myself, and know I can jump into relationships (I have in the past) very quickly and eagerly, only to be slammed hard and hurt bad... I'm not saying I'm afraid either... just being more patient, and hopefully wise :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

My girlfriend digs the fact that my tripod has mid-level spreaders. And remember Brandon, Coffee is for closers.
