Alzo 300 LED light

I started carrying a UPS. Heavy because of the lead acid battery. There are some lithium battery systems out there now. I have a DC to AC converter that I am testing with a Sony V lock battery. Loooking strong! Much lighter than The UPS system. The Bluff power packs are tempting.

A really easy battery solution would be to buy a portable car battery jump starter with the built in A/C outlets. It is a cheap, easy solution and is very portable. Battery life will depend on the Amp size of the unit. I have used lights on them before and they work great. I do not have the Alzo so I can not comment on the battery life on it.

+1 on this. I have used a Black & Decker model and it worked very well on LEDs & flos drawing less than ~200 watts. It does have a cooling, fan, though, so hide it in the trunk of your car and run a stinger. One thing, the internal batteries on these things do eventually die. They're replaceable, but not easily. Mine lasted 4 years before kicking the bucket.
