Alternative to Vocas Topside Handgrip

Hey everyone, I'm thinking about buying the Vocas Topside Handgrip, but it seems a bit expensive and I haven't been able to find any alternatives. There are a lot of topside grips that mount to rails above the camera, but not many that mount to the lower rails like this. Any thoughts? Thanks!

What's wrong with a grip that attaches to rods? Two cage arms and a top grip are essentially the same thing but offer more flexibility.

There's nothing wrong with a grip on two rods, but it seems a bit complicated for what I'm trying to do. Just curious if there are any others out there like the Vocas grip.
 
I love all the vocas stuff. I have to save up to buy it but it always replaces cheaper things that I thought would do. The top handle works really well as seems the best balanced of any solution I've seen.
 
Yeah, that's what I hear. I'll probably just save up for this one too. Was just hoping there was some alternative out there.
 
Hi I have an Easom solo, it's a great simple solution for a lightweight rig. When I put it on a friends setup with a v lock battery block on the back and a much bigger monitor than mine, it was too flexy so it depends on the rig - but a nice piece of kit
