Bumping this thread as there may be an alternative now that i am considering. What about using a Denecke SB-3 to generate the TC into a recorder (in my case a SD 702) and then an out from the recorder to the Ambient Clock It iOS App? This app supposedly just reads and displays the current TC value. Anyone tried something similar?
