Alternative for Powerex MH-C800S battery charger??? SOFT charging needed.

I am just wondering whether there is any alternative for Powerex MH-C800S AA (AAA) battery charger. I had two units in the last 4-5 years. Both of them are dead.
I like them as a charger when they work. Unfortunately, it turns out they all fail within 1-2 years if you use them (all the time) as a professional photographer.

I would like to have a charger which allows me to charge battery in "soft" charge mode to make sue my batteries last long and it lasts more than 2 years...

I really like the Opus BT-C3100. They are expensive but really popular and they charge a huge range of cell sizes and types. I charge AAA, AA, 18350 and 18650 cells in mine.

You can adjust the charge rate from 200mA, 300, 500, 1000 up to 2000mAh depending on what kind of cell is being charged and how many are inserted.
Each slot can supply a different charge rate, it measures the amount of charge each slot has delivered, and there's lots of other modes like testing, discharge testing etc etc.
It's quite noisy when the cooling fan kicks in but I'd rather it was cooled rather than getting hot and failing after a year or two.
