Alternative 24P Master to screen

Pros,
I have a 24p (23.98) project in FCP6. I successfully used compressor to perform the pulldown to the video shot on a canon HV20. I am limited to showing the final film via the camera only. What do you suggest as a conversion option for printing to video? I can print an HD 1080 60i version but does that defeat the purpose of having executed the pulldown in the first place?

Need your advice. Thanks in advance.
 
Not at all- most 24p material is shown on tv at 1080 60i because it's a far more common format.

Yeah, removing the pulldown before editing allows you to insert a consistent pulldown at the end. You definitely have the correct workflow in this regard.
