Hi,
New to this forum as I'm fairly new to the world of video. I've done a few music videos for some local bands and have also started to do some weddings for friends. The camera I currently have is a Canon XC10, which is awesome in good light but for evenings not so good. So am looking into buying some form of lighting to help with wedding receptions etc.
Can anyone advise if either of these lights would be recommended for my use? I was thinking of maybe having the Dedolights set-up for the reception and first dances, with possibly colour gels attached. For daytime filming in the home or dimly lit areas, using the Alphatron TriStar on camera and possibly off, to balance the shots more.
If anyone has any experience with these (especially the Alphatron TriStar) and can advise if there's any alternative's which are cheaper, that would also be great.
Cheers!
