Allen Daviau

[CovenantPictures]

Allen Daviau is speaking at California State University Northridge tonight. If you're local, come on by. Sort of late notice, but worth mentioning.

If you're unaware of Daviau, he was Director of Photography on E.T. and other great films.

Here is his IMDB

I have been to a couple of Daviau lectures and he does a bang up job. He answers many questions and has the perfect amount of precaution and openness to digital media.

I have gained much knowledge from his lectures and he is a great sport about meeting and discussing questions or opinions after the lecture. I can't make it tonight because of production meetings but I encourage those who can, to do so.
