I thought that was adorable and the open, incredibly creative.

Re: ALL-TIME FAVORITE HOLIDAY MOVIE:

What? Nobody suggested The Long Kiss Goodnight?

The Vince Guaraldi soundtrack of A Charlie Brown Christmas never leaves my CD changer between Thanksgiving and New Years.

Re: ALL-TIME FAVORITE HOLIDAY MOVIE:

Where is "The Grinch" and I'm not talking about that Jim Carrey disaster. I'm talking about Boris Karloff! That is easily my favorite. Max Rocks!

Re: ALL-TIME FAVORITE HOLIDAY MOVIE:

Nightmare Before Christmas. Can you get better than that movie?

EDIT: The answer is "No, no you cannot."

In a very close second I'll go with Charlie Brown Christmas, and after that I'd say Scrooged.

Re: ALL-TIME FAVORITE HOLIDAY MOVIE:

It's a Wonderful Life, definetly, also one my fave of all times. Frank Capra is a genuise I think. Great Director.

A Christmas story comes close.

Re: ALL-TIME FAVORITE HOLIDAY MOVIE:

It was Between Christmas Vacation and A Christmas Story, went for Chevy Chase.

Re: ALL-TIME FAVORITE HOLIDAY MOVIE:

Come on! Geena Davis breaking the neck of a deer while wearing her festive holiday best? That's the true meaning of the season.

Buddy - You sit on a throne of lies!

I loved Elf too. A Wonderful Life and A Christmas Story are pretty hard to beat, but I really like Planes, Trains, and Automobiles for a holiday movie. I love John Candy and I never get tired of watching that one. It's really funny with just the right touches of sentimentality and never sappy.

Re: ALL-TIME FAVORITE HOLIDAY MOVIE:

While I wouldn't say it was better than It's A Wonderful Life, The Santa Clause is one that my family watches every year :)
