Hi Guys,

Sorry about that, it is now set to public.

Tomas Riuka (member here) has just received his SGblade for his HPX170. Hopefully he will post some footage soon.

We also have a few customers with HV20/30's.

Thanks Anders, I will update the first post with your clips.

Is it just me who prefers RR2 over RR1 so much in terms of look? I know the advantages of RR1 - little light loss and no grain but looking at RR2 footage makes me wonder whether I need RR1 at all (well I need - I don't want to spend too much money on light rentals).

Always nice to be able to change between the rotorazor's, depending on different jobs you get hired for. And it's only 49 UK pounds extra :)

Ill definately buy them both but much prefer the RR2 as well. Just as long as the edge to edge sharpness with EX1 is scrutinised and if its at par with LEX then Im ready to make my move...

Now that the HPX300 is coming in March it'll be truly interesting to see the HPX300 go up against the EX1. If the EX1 CA problem could be fixed through the SGBlade, the EX1 purchase would be a no brainer - otherwise I have to figure out how to put the SGBlade on the big Fujiton lens of the HPX300! LOL

I also prefer the RR2. That's the biggest thing that is making me jump ship from Letus.

does anybody have a solid figure on the light loss difference between the Razor1 and Razor2? i've actually yet to find some Razor1 footage that makes me go AHHHHHHH....i know there's several people out there who have both so maybe somebody can do a comparison for all of us here.

I think I read somewhere RR1 = 0.5 and RR2 = 1 stop... might remember wrong though...

OH...i take that back. forget the figures. how about a screen grab? =) anybody willing to go out of their way to do that? mount it on a tripod with RR1, record, unmount, replace with RR2 and remount it on the tripod so its basically the same exact frame with the same exact lens and camera settings...i mean we all judge based on what we see right? every adapter out there claims 1/2 a stop, its always better when supported with a visual demonstration. like cinevate's videos!

im just wondering how come nobody's ever did that, at least then we can see the difference in bokeh rendition, light loss, etc...

The Blade has only been in people's hands a few days. In my case, between work and weather, it will be a while before I have time to do a comparison.

I'm sure we'll see some examples within the next week or so.
