All Adobe CC applications now available for download…as of 11:50PM EST

I bought the full suite about 4 months ago, if Adobe think I'm now going to start paying a subscription fee they're dreaming.
There's no CDNG support in Premiere BUT wait for it... it now supports prores! :2vrolijk_08: Adobe have finally caught up to FCP circa 2007.

I've been on CC for 6 months now. Way better than a costly suite. Premiere has also supported prores for years (Premiere is codec agnostic so just install a suitable codec and it will work).

Happy to report that Premiere Pro CC now opens much faster on my Macbook Pro Retina than CS6 ever did. Also in PPCC, when your playhead reaches the end of the timeline, it's now also at the end of the canvas timeline like it should be. In CS6, the playhead always stayed near the start of the canvas timeline even though it was at the end of the main timeline. That always bugged me. As I learn my way around the redesigned interface, I'm also finding that PPCC is noticeably faster and snappier overall. Happy I joined CC as I always like to have the latest version.

But there may be good news for those of you opting to stay with CS6. The web site nofilmschool is reporting that Adobe is polling users regarding the whole CS6 vs CC debate and may be reconsidering it's decision to kill CS6. Though it may involve some form of CC subscription.

yep, I've been happily Prores-ing in Premiere and After Effects for years now

What I don't understand is, why can 5D2RGB write ProRes files but Premiere and After Effects can only read them?
Probably because Adobe doesn't lease prores. 5d2rgb can be bought in the App Store from Apple so we know that they obtained the rights.

You can write prores if you have the prores encoder (Mac only, comes with FCPX or Motion). That's all on Apple...Premiere and After Effect let you export to Quicktime, from there it's up to Quicktime to support those codecs because they're Quicktime codecs, not Premiere and After Effects codecs.

No thanks for me as well. Not interested in the subscription in the least. Apparently CS6 is the last Adobe product I will buy.

Download the QT Codecs package that includes Prores on your Mac, download a program called Unpkg. Unpkg the Codec .dmg...drag all the codec files into Library/Quicktime and BOOM...Prores in Adobe. No need to have an Apple Product.

Just a heads up... Adobe Encore is effectively discontinued and not included with Premiere CC, so don't uninstall it. Otherwise, you'll be forced to re-download and install Premiere CS6 in order to have a DVD/BD program. (I found out the hard way)
