Looking forward to this movie. The film seems to have promise. Colin Farrell was a good choice. Hopefully, Hollywood will keep artistic license to a minimum. The reality of Alexander's exploits and battles is a far better story than anything the studio execs could ever come up with.

... but then again the Illiad was a great story also and Hollywood messed that up with the abortion Troy.

One film I really realy really hope is made is from the book called Gates of Fire about the Spartan 300 and the Battle of Thermopylae. The best book I ever read.

i cant wait either, shoud be totaly awesome. that giant battle at gaugamela had around 500,000 persians (depending on where you read, but thats about how many are in the movie.) against alexanders 60,000 and alexander kicks their ass's! and! thats not even at the end of the movie, i think its like early middle or something. i wont give away anything....but i read a portion of the script, and there is a scene that made me cry like a little *****. i hope its still in there.

anyway, angelina looks smokin hot.

cant wait to see this flick!

This thing is gonna kick ass. How many movies are going to use those arrows flying over head shots!? Geez, that's like 3 so far in the past 2 months.

I heard it was really bad

some people walked out of the sneak preview...

but I'm a sucker for epics, so I'll definately see it on wednesday

Angelina looks hotter than ever. How is this possible? Also Rosario Dawson looks pretty damn good too.

I'm no expert but as I understand it, he was Bisexual and died of what they suspect was malaria or typhoid ferver.

Anyone see it yet. I had to look high and low for positive reviews, even then they were not glowing with excitement. Let me know before I waste my money.

Definitely want to catch this. You know that with Oliver Stone whatever he does it'll be interesting. I bet the battle scenes are sick.

Well I'm going to see this in about 2 hours, I heard the camera work is pretty intense during the battle scenes. Although this movie is getting bad reviews in the USA, it's getting good reviews in Europe.


Might be one of those movies you gotta use your brain. I sure hope so. Odds are good, its Mr. Oliver Stone, he capable right?

My buddy saw it and said it was good, but nothing spectacular. He had high hopes, so he was a bit let down.

I saw it and though it was terrible. It felt nothing for any of the characters. It was a big mess of a movie.

Is this going to be another TROY? I though try was going to be awsome but when I saw it it sucked. Yeah I said it!

They had a sneak peak at my school, what a dud. Makes you wonder what happened to Stone.
