Alexa: Behind the Lens filtration, not just for film cameras anymore!

Similar to built-in ND but in more flavors. Now I have to wonder why built in NDs, such as the ones found on AF100 or F3 don't disrupt the flange distance between lens and sensor. Maybe they are much thinner?

I know with the AF-100, they did think about the flange distance difference, which is why there's an optical flat instead of an empty hole when you go down to 0 ND. I'd assume the F3 is the same. Probably both mounts have that factored into the design.
