AKG PR4500 ENG Wireless set

AKG makes great mics. Don't know about their wireless systems, except none of my feature film sound colleagues use them (AFAIK).
In any case, that particular system has two potential issues: The 600MHz block is scheduled for FCC auction next year and the lavaliere mic is cardioid, which should be generally be avoided.

Seems odd that no one appears to use this system as it falls into a unique price category between perceived pro-sumer level wireless (say, G3)and entry level pro systems (say, Lectro 100). I'm just not well-versed enough in audio to make immediate sense of the specs, so can't say what advantages, if any, this system might have over the G3 (which I have and am not really thrilled with). That's why I'm hoping to get some real-world user feedback.
