AKG C 568 Shotgun

No, but AKG mics do have a reputation of going noisy and crackly in damp conditions.

The old 451 series certainly did.

The K6 series is certainly OK in the damp.

Bearing in mind your postings in the other thread - I think the best solution to your problem is the K6 with an MKE 2-60 with the ME 66 short gun head as well.

This way you have the K6 and swap head as necessary.

If you already have the MKE 2-4 with the 3-pin special Lemo, ask the locak Sennheiser agent if he can swap the Lemo for the K6 series connector.

I hope this helps.

Thanks John!

I just had a chance to buy the AKG for $150, and was wondering if it was worth it.

When you say damp, how damp do you mean?
