Hi all
Pretty sure something is awry with my trusty Panasonic external hard drive. I was downloading from the drive to my editing HD just like lots of other times without issue. Only this time I got called away with a phone call I had to take. I came back in the room to see the E2 light flashing and then the drive shut down.
So I'm pretty sure it was my bad relating to battery power. Anyway, I plug in the adapter and power it back up and am now getting the blinking red error light on the front AND a steady red E4 light on top. Which is telling me something - probably something bad - but I cannot find the E4 error message anywher either in the pdf that I have downloaded or googling online. I'm assuming the worst that I lost some data, but what bugs me is that I cannot get the drive to reset much less how to turn off the red E4 light.
Definitely my fault for battery life. Can someone tell me what the red E4 light error message is and how to turn it off? Also where is it in the English written Panasonic documentation?
