Airline travel...about to get worse!!!

I expect that the human-factors engineering has been done but I don't like the look of those 'seats.' They look like they'd create pressure points where all men and probably most women would like to avoid 'em.

On the bright side they could add pedals, gears and chain running along under the seats, and passengers could pedal to help add some auxiliary power to the plane's systems.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we are lining up our approach into Washington Reagan National Airport. Please start pedaling furiously."

And, what about our fatter flying friends? I already refuse to tolerate plus-sized fellow flyers slopping over into the area occupied by my seat; this new approach leaves me with the mental image of several pounds of bread dough draped over a paper rack...don't know how the &*$@! one controls, for *that*...

Look to me very much like the kind of reality airlines would be interested in adopting. Always testing the frontiers of what their customers will tolerate, those folks...

Well, someday soon we'll have teleportation, so it won't be a concern.

This, however, will be…

am i the only one that realizes the real solution isn't to make the seats smaller, but rather, the seat belts longer? with a longer belt, you can fit one to two strangers on your lap. problem solved.

First flight attendant who expects me to pay $$$ for the use of a lavatory will be presented with the choice of revising the fee to zero, or discovering a novel kind of mess to clean up, in the aisle.

The article mentions Ryanair charging for restroom use, but that's never happened to me so it must either be a new thing or not that common. Or maybe I'm lucky.
Either way, their flights are so cheap I could live with paying for that. I mean, how much can it cost? A buck?

If you wanna complain about air travel, how about the awful coffee, the restrooms that are even worse than train restrooms in the 80s (well, maybe not that bad) or all the waiting?

Oh yeah, I hate it when THAT happens.

That awful (free?) coffee might be the key ingredient of the enterprise: full of laxatives! lol
Cheap flight, free coffee, but then..... even a buck is too much if you have to go every minute.
Alternatively, you can invest in a diaper and cheat the rigged scheme.
But then again, .... you arrive the other way you board (clean on the outside, full of $... inside) Ehh....who knows what's best?

All kidding aside though, coffee is important.
I would pay for a real cup of joe instead of that instant freeze dried piss they serve.

As the world gets ever "cheaper"... willing to sacrifice quality to "save" every last DIME... like shopping a big-box over mom and pop, because it's literally $1 cheaper (often for an inferior version, brand, or "brand-less" version of the product)... people are getting what they deserve... or literally "getting what they paid for".

This stuff comes about because people are so freakin' cheap... and you can't blame companies for wanting to stay in business in spite of that.

I make it a point to shop in stores that don't treat me like "cattle" and go in knowing I'm going to be a few bucks lighter for it. People will ***** about these seats the whole time they're flying... after consciously CHOOSING these seats to save $15 off Southwest (or whatever).
