Airbus a380

Is anyone else going to go to LAX or JFK to watch the first airbus a380 landing in the US?

Ill be at LAX trying to get some shots of it.

Its just a landing, they are saying its quieter then a 747.

My brother in law's 18-wheeler rig is more quiet than my sisters Harley. But I still hate listening to the god awful noise both make.

That plane's just too darn big for me. The whole time I was on it I'd be thinking, "How is this thing in the air"? Seems like a perfect target for terrorists too. I don't like that landing video because the angle of the shot makes it difficult to understand just how much the wind is affecting it.

It looks like this is going for one runway then gets blown to another one at a 45 degree angle to the original.

damn that was a big plane... there was a 747 that everyone thought was the a380 that came in before it and it looked small compaired to the a380.

So a editor that works at our sister company wanted me go film the take off with him and he got his reporter out there, news said 7:15 take off so we get there 6:30 and notice lots of people leaving....

Airbus decided to take off over a hour before the scheduled time!!! GRRR

So we missed the shot but it also looks like ABC missed the shoot to as the news truck was all setup and the camera guy that looked really pissed pulled all the gear in, and looking at there coverage later it was all one shoot from there helicopter... HEHE
