Aging Techniques

Forgive me if this has been addressed already, but I've got a film that requires certain characters to look about 20 to 40 years older than they actually are. A 20 year old actors that need to be 40, 50 and 60 respectivley. What are the best ways to do this?
 
Skilled makeup person.
Latex and other makeup to provide some wrinkles. A little hair graying.
Most makeup books cover this.
