I'm new to sound. I'm getting ready to shoot a short film, and need a boom mic.
I already have the AG-MC100 mic on DVX100, but was wondering if I could attach it to a boom pole, of course I'd have to get a longer XLR cable. Would this work? If this would work, where is a good place to buy?
I know there are other ways to get good audio (i.e LAV mics), but I just want to know about my question above. I already have wireless LAC mic's, but need this boom pole for not only this project, but others. So please try and stay on the boom topic.
