AG DVC30 and a DVX100A

I am thinking to buy a second camera (a very portable camera like a DVC30). I don´t know if is more difficult mix the shoots of the two cameras. What do you think? any suggestions?

Do you plan on shooting progressive? If you do, the DVC30s frame mode isn't going to cut it next to the native progressive DVX footage. Otherwise, I hear it's a very nice camera.

Yes I would like to shoot in progresive if it´s possible, but I don´t know if the shoots of the two cameras is more different.
