Im edited on PPRO1.0 and using AFX6.5. All these video clips are located in its own dedicated folder, containing about 188 video files and total with a size of 105gigs. I dunno if dis important info or not.

Wats going on?!? I have a deadline! EEEEK!

i had similar issues once but my circumstances were a bit different. I was trying to use a "low rez" version of the video files while animating with the intention of replacing back the high rez versions when i was ready to render. The problems I had were that my low rez versions were encoded differently that AE expected them to be. I've also seen similar error msgs in premiere when trying to replace dv footage with divx footage. sorry i couldn't help more (or at all) mc.

Hmmmm.... Ive captured evrything using the default codec used in prem pro.... mircosft dv avi thing mag gig. All my video clips where caputred in the same way. Dats why i dont feels the the codec is the issue. Can there be a problem with having 60% of my video clips on one harddrive and the remain 40% on another drive. Maybe AE has an issue with reading from both drives and cant reconise the missing clips?!?

try using something other than avi files

So change evrything to mov? Doesnt premier have troubles with mov files? How would i chnaged codec? I hope this doesnt mean recaputring everything in premiere? That i wont do.... as this project has taken me 4 months in post to complete. Have over 180gigs of video. All captured the same way with the defult setting "DV NTSC"....
