After Rendering in CS3

Have you experience a clips after rendering or exporting from CS3 timeline became less sharpen as compare to its orginal clips. compare the exported clips in source monitor to master clips in preview monitor.

Yes, this is almost always evident to some extent. By rendering source footage to a new, or even the same codec, you are recompressing the footage into a slightly less detailed copy of the original. Keeping the quality high means setting the bitrate high so that very little compression takes place from the original source files.

Comparing the Source and Program Monitors is not a good indication of sharpness due to the way these are displayed bu setting playback to High quality might help .

EXPORT Tip : Uncheck the 'Recompress' Box option in the Export Settings

How about when capturing in cs3,do you have any recomended settings.as i also observe the clips became less detailed and sharp as compare to its original clips when playback from camera using external LCD or plasma monitor.

are you playing the clips you imported on the same external lcd or plasma monitors? If not, could just be your computer monitor.
