After Effects vs. Motion

Just found this thread, asked the same question in the FCP subforum.
I visited the Apple Worl Tour last week and must say before buying AE, because it´s the "state of the art" tool, I will give Motion a real close look.
I imagine 50% of the stuff labeled as "done on a Flame or Nitris" is done with AE.
But I also imagine that A LOT of stuff labeled as "AE work" was done quick and dirty in Motion:thumbsup:

BTW I wish there was a tutorilal site for Motion like Kramers for AE...
Any hints welcome!

For me, as a working motion designer, I don't do much editing, and the little I do can be accomplished in any editing program.

wow, lesson learned, I have used AE for years and just now I lean that you can buy premiere and AE in one bag!!!

One cool thing I have been told is that you can use some of the already prekeyed animations from motion into After Effects. Like Ink spills, water balloon explosions other cool things like that.
