After Effects Practice

The video I created is a practice for a short film I had in mind that has been circulating in my head for awhile. The shots I created are practices with green screen and masking. Any constructive criticism is greatly appreciated :) This video was shot on the Canon T2i/550D.

The shadow in the eyeball was cool.

If you wanted to extend the piece I would suggest getting to know the character a bit first.

Also, you might want to lead us in. Have bits and pieces of shadow. More subtle - set the opacity down and blend with the surroundings. I think you can use a plane to set it against and then apply the shadow to the plane. Someone might be able to explain a bit more in here. And then lead us along as we get to know the character and then end with the shot of the eye - love that shot and maybe just a hand coming at her.

Hey story2rewrite thanks for the comment :) I really like the idea of slowly revealing the shadow while developing the main character a bit. Thanks on the opacity advice also and I'm really glad you like the eye shot :)
