After effects export distortion

I took a video on my canon t2i in 1080p 24fps and edited it in premiere. Then i used the new video copilot script for after effects in a 1080p 29.97fps comp(by accident i should have put 24fps) then put all of the effects and color correction on that. When i went to export i got distortion on the video. It had black bars running throughout the video soo i tryed it many times with diffrent export settings and allways got a smilar distoriton. If its a matter of changing your frame rate all you have to do is open the comp hit ctrl/cmd K, that will bring up your comp settings (or you can get there on the menu, goto composition->composition settings). You can change it to 24fps there. If that doesn't fix the issue let us know.
