After Effects CS4 audio editing in Soundbooth?

When trying to edit an AE CS4 project in Soundbooth, the waveform for the audio is not displayed. The level meters register and I can hear the audio, but no waveform. Is there a setting in Soundbooth I need to set so the waveform is visible?

This is a long shot but try zooming in? I know in older versions of Premiere and in Final Cut the waveform wasn't rendered if you were too far away.
