After Effects CS3 adding jaggies/combing?

I shot some 30p footage and looks fine in vlc and vegas. In premiere and after effects, they're adding jaggies. I changed the settings of the file to progressive but only fixed some of the jaggies. This is really driving me crazy. Anyone know whats causing this?

Is the problem there when you export a file?
Or are you just in timeline right now?
Check you are at full rez preview

It's there when I export. After effects/premiere is adding this.

I open AE...drop the file in the folder. Create a composition and drag the video to it and there are jaggies everywhere. I then set the video properties to progressive and it removes most jaggies but not all. If i add a deartifacter filter to it, it removes the rest of the jaggies.

I'm at full res preview etc.

Also, if I load the same video file in Vegas Pro, no issues whatsoever. The video looks like it does in the video player.

In the Project panel, right click on your source clip, then choose "Interpret Footage" then select "Main...".

In the window that opens, you can adjust your Fields and Pulldown. Setting the "Separate Fields" dropdown to "Off" may help in smoothing your edges, but you may find you see interlacing. I left mine on "Lower Field First" and then selected "Preserve Edges (Best Quality Only)", which seemed to do the trick.

Hope that helps.
