Hawks made Collingwood look very beatable last night. Hopefully they'll do the same for us if we get through Geelong tonight. Go Dockers.

For the benefit of Americans, the Fremantle Dockers are the greatest team in the AFL with a legacy of dominance unrivalled.

What a massive match. I lost my voice and I was watching from home! Thought we were going to play the 'pies next but looks like it's the crows. They've had our measure before but hopefully the injuries will play in our favour. Need to get over to adelaide to see the game.

On a filmmaking note it's been an ongoing problem over the last few years, sports producers trying to turn the game into a movie. Far too many close ups and medium shots, miss all the off the ball action. Glad they got themselves sorted this last couple of months. Those wide shots from the pocket in the 'G look fantastic. Ling and Richo are almost embarrassing to watch when they interview, trying to be one of the guys. I thought Richo was going to kiss Pav, Ling bawling his eyes out. Speaking of which, how did Ling get a tv job with that head? :)

I believe they have a legacy of dominance also, perhaps only surpassed by the Levis... :happy:

Watching the eagles *hrkk ptuah* play north. Don't know whether to barrack for them or not. It would be sweet to meet them in the final (not least of which because it would be the easiest match for us) but I can't see the MCG selling out. Too far and expensive for your average west aussie punter (only the miners are cashed up and they're working) and Vics have limited interest in interstate teams. Still, long way to go yet. Still have to beat the crows in adelaide and eagles *hrkk ptuah* would have to beat collingwood AND the swans. I don't think they have a hope in hell against sydney and we'll have a tough match vs hawks although we beat them last time we made the finals.

Shaping up as a great finals series. Every match so far has seen 110% effort from every team and any dominance has not been for the lack of strong opposition. Can't wait til next week, gonna try and get to adelaide...or maybe I should back my team and save my money for melbourne?...

EDIT: at quarter time might have to take back what I just said about effort in reference to the roos.
