AF100 still got it

For some reason I read this as HVX200 and I was watching it like: "I never got footage like that with a HVX."

For anyone who can't afford a C100, I think a used AF100 is a steal of a deal & this is a good example. Plus the money you save on a camera you can invest in accessories that will out live your next 4 cameras.

Nice work.

Good spot. Thanks for sharing. Not to take away in any way from the camera and lighting here, but the casting and art direction/hair & make-up are top quality too. I think the Af100 can really shine when all departments are coming through. Congrats.

Yeah. Thanks! We used atomos samurai for that spot. It helps a lot when grading images. I've debating to myself about upgrading the camera, but not reallying finding anything so much better that is not so much expensive. I think it's just better to wait for the sucessor.

About the settings we used cine D and the lenses were lumix 7-14 and nikons 35, 50 and 85mm

Hey Gustavo, exellent work. The FS700 is only and exactly two twice as expensive than the FS100, and it is 4K-capable. I guess you used the Lumix 7-14 on a GH2/3/4 camera. What would be your ideal camera and price to upgrade? Thanks, Miki

We used the Lumix and another lenses with the AF100.

My dream camera now would be the Red Scarlet Dragon, but is too expensive for my budget at the moment. And honestly and don't know if would improve so much my results.

I still think the AF100 + Samurai is on par against most sony and canon cameras.

I'm looking foward to the AF100 sucessor with 4k and some other improvements.

I'm still using the AF100 for high dollar projects. The people hiring are calling for me, not a certain make/model camera. Life is good.

Ref: Your latest spot "DNA Laboratory" Gustavo_Viral. Very well done. I really like the consistent color palette you chose as well.
How long did the spot take to complete from start of shooting to post production? Is this a one time or a series of spots for that particular client?
