Weird. Not on export, as I've read elsewhere. Footage looks fine native, and will even transcode fine via Clipwrap, but once the footage is moved into FCP it darkens by about two stops (for lack of a better analogy). I can fix it with a gamma correction filter, but with some iq loss and surely theres a setting somewhere to avoid this.
Other AVCHD cameras I work with don't do this.
