AF100/AVCHD Log and Transfer issue: captured footage plays back at 2X speed.

First time using AVCHD..When I try and log and transfer my af100 footage, it transfers the footage to Prores, but leaves the half-filled circle next the clip in the L&T window instead of the fully filled circle letting you know its fully transfered.

All the video and audio are there, however the video plays back at 2X or 3X speed, while it plays normally in the camera and in the preview window.

Is there anyway around this? I'm thinking Clipwrap or other 3rd party software, but would rather not spend the $50 right now if I don't have to.

The half-filled circle just means that not all portions of the clip were transferred, e.g. you set in and out points.

What format is the footage shot in originally? Did you check to make sure your sequence settings match your footage? Does it playback at high speeds on the timeline and in the viewer window? Did you check clip settings? (maybe there's some weird flag that brings in your footage at a different playback rate). Do the transcoded ProRes files play normally in Quicktime?

Go into the Log and Transfer Preferences (the sprocket drop down menu) and uncheck REMOVE PULLDOWN. Then try to reimport.

sorry for the delayed response, this is my third attempt at responding but the posts never made the board (I think the new format caused me to hit the wrong buttons :) )

Thanks Shane. Tried checking and unchecking the pulldown option previously to no avail.
Clipwrap has been working well but would still love to keep it within FCP

Hendo:
There's no in and out points which makes me think the half-filled circle is related to whats going on with the clips.
clips are all 23.98
they play back with the same issues in QT (video playing at 2X speed audio at 1X).
The sequence settings match the footage

Anything else I should check?
