AF100 30s Ad Converted to 35mm Film

We are thinking about doing some advertising with a local theater that does not have a digital projector. Does anyone know what kind of price we would be looking at to convert a 30s ad to 35mm? Also, has anyone had experience with AF100 footage converted to 35mm? How was the quality? Thanks!

You would be best asking this of the Lab that will do the work.

Quality will be fine.

I have done it from DVX and HVX footage. It did the job well.

HD will be a huge improvement.

BTW- you can do a lot of the work your self in After Effects to save some $.

Get the dimension spec from the Digital Lab and then take your movie into After Effects and create sequential tiffs or sequential tgas to give to the lab.

Usually your soundtrack will need to be converted to mono tracks and mixed as a Dolby Master to the lab specs also. Tats the way film projectors work with audio.

I am 99% sure there is no one doing anything like this within 200-300 miles of me. Which means it will probably have to be done remotely.
