Aeon Flux Trailer, I'm starting to worry?

I really dig the poster art, but yeah the buzz is pretty much non-existent on this one.

I'm always a sucker for women of action though, so I'll be there. Would have liked to see less balls in that clip and more of the heroin.

ok, so i've never heard of aeon flux, what's the deal with the balls? and yea, the trailer was kinda... pointless

Rosestar you have a point; Charlize (She is super uber hot) has spent her career taking off her clothes and now she's wearing a one piece?

BUt this is the outfit:

Aeon Flux was an animated series that was run by MTV way back in the '90s. It started, I think, as part of their "Liquid TV" series, which showcased kick ass animation, usually late at night. This is were I fell in love with Bill Plympton, and Aeon Flux.
It was kick ass, visually speaking, but was kinda lacking in narrative. I always thought of it as a kinda post-modern serial. What Republic Studios would be turnng out in an alternate reality.

I LOVED the cartoon, but I just don't think a live action adaptation would work. Part of Aeon's charm was the way she moved, which isn't possible by a real person (in any logistical sense.)

Let's see Charlize catch a fly between her eye lashes; then we'll talk.

OMG

I just didnt know where I knew this from. I just knew it was something familiar. And then Rosestar and TC make it all clear. The fly in the eyelash....

Whoa Flashback.

Oh, from what I hear she will be quite flexible in this one... although her stance on the outfit isn't! Zing!

If you haven't yet (and you're interested in this movie) check out the website, and watch the trailer for the video game. Very cool.

The video game looks very cool. I think they should have made a CG animated version of the story, like the VG. That would have been killer...

... but then again, they did not ask me, uuh?

unfortunately all of that videogame footage (although i agree it looks great) is not in-game footage. i don't think a single shot was actual game play - what a tease!

Aeon Flux is one of my favorite western animated series. As you can probably tell from my avatar.

But TC is correct; the character's bodies and the way they moved is impossible to portray in live action without boatloads of Linux renderfarms CGing the **** out of the footage.

Charlize is indeed uber-hot, and one of the few females I'm aware of that I'd ruin my life over if the opportunity arose. Still, I believe I have found the quintessential Aeon Flux character... my scriptwriter's girlfriend. I am looking around to see if I have some video of her. I'm telling you, its her.
