AE titles in FCP

After sampling LiveType, I much prefer AE for my titling. I would like to know what settings I have to have correct in AE in order for it to transfer properly and work with my 24p 2.35:1 project in FCP.
Also, my titles will be overlayed onto the video, not onto black. How do I tell AE this?
