Hi all,
This site is a great resource for filmaking, shooting and camera analysis but isn't the most active AE forum.

Anyone have recommendations on active, well attended AE forums on the net?

Thanks.
I generally find the adobe forums pretty weak. After a little poking around I have browsed the Video Copilot forums which look really good.

Weak how?

More so than here?

I know Adobe employees post in their own forums. I've seen many issues answered that only an employee with access to the programming code could have shed any light on.

AE enhancers is a good one too. What is the purpose of you going to well attended AE forums anyways? Do you need help or inspiration?

Weak in that they are focused more on technical issues and basics than creative help and inspiration.

Thanks for those other links, guys!

You going to need to need to know the technical stuff if you want to create the awesome. Some effects require you know expressions (which are technical) and scripts. The reason why the gurus at Red Giant and Andrew Kramer are so good because they have a solid understanding of the technical and the creative. When it comes to After Effects, one can't live with the other.

Excellent. You hang out at the Adobe forums, I'll go to the VC forums and everyone is happy.

I got to many forums for inspiration, buddy including the VC forums so do what makes you happy. I also find easy to get inspired by what I see on the screen than by other people's work but everyone has their own source of inspiration.
