Advise on writing my first Synopsis

Hey, I'm currently in the process of finishing up a feature-length screenplay. I plan on trying my best to get the movie made and distributed. My next step is writing a synopsis and filming a teaser, then I'm going to try pitching it.

I've read a bunch of stuff online and examples of other synopsis's written, but I just wanted to put up a post on DVX and see what some of you had to say, being that I've come to trust you guy's judgment and advise.

You might read lots of movie synopses or mini-synopses on blockbuster.com, the back of DVD jackets, imdb.com, etc. All teasers, to get someone to rent or buy the movie; in your case the synopsis is to get someone to request the screenplay or continue reading the screenplay that follows your one page synopsis.

Keep it to a single page. Also, don't fall into the trap of boringly telling us everything that happens in order. Focus on the best parts (the action sequences if it's an action script, the scenes with comedic potential if it's a comedy) and really sell them. Don't go into too much detail to the point that the person reading it doesn't need to even read the script to know how it ends.
