Advise on purchasing a Glidecam

I have a Canon C100 camera that I would like to use with a glidecam. Currently I've been working with a 7D on a Ronin-M as a B-Cam for these shots but I feel like it would work better as a single operator to have my C100 on a quick release plate to go between a steadicam and tripod (plus a myriad of reasons concerning batteries, stands, tuning etc.)

Initially I thought to get the Glidecam HD4000. My budget permits for this. However I have found someone selling a second hand Glidecam 4000 Pro and vest+arm for the same price on eBay.

What are the differences between the PRO range and HD range?

Would the addition of a vest+arm provide additional stability that the earlier PRO model may not have compared to HD?

While I can't help you with the Glidecams, I do know from personal experience (Using cheap Chinese knockoff "steadicams") that if you plan to use these for any planned shoot that require repeated takes, you need the vest+arm. It will absolutely make a world of difference in how long you can use it. All the weight is transferred to your hips making it much easier to hold for extended periods of time. The arm is also useful for dampening extra vertical movement that would normally be present with just your hands.

Of course, using everything in tandem will take a lot of practice, a light touch, and dedication, but the results are worth it. I vote for the one with the arm + vest! :)
