One of my characters is in a rock band and plays in a club as his father watches with mild facination. My actor says that he is okay on electric guitar in real life. How should I film this?
I'm a zero budget guy and I am using royalty free music mostly. I'm not too keen on having a band create a song and sign a release letting me use their music. For one, I'm not sure a band would give that to me for free and second off, i'm not sure of the legalities of music licenes which is why I kind of like the royalty free music route.
I'm looking for a really stong guitar sequence. A song that would really fill up a club with sound and mezmorize the audience (club goers in the movie I mean.) That's kind of hard to find with royalty free. Of course if anyone knows of really strong royalty free guitar rock, maybe that would work. (Seems like a lot of royalty free is of the elevator music level.)
