Greetings
I really need to get a broadcast monitor to help me grade color, delivery is through a low powered TV station that just started, and so have we as a production company.
We are now looking for the best bang for the buck on a broadcast monitor or "something that would work". A little bit of what we have, the best equipment will come in the near future but for now here's what we got. The station won't do the HD switch (I think) since it is a low powered station.
Our cameras we will use are the HMC-150 (HD), and as many here, we looked at this monitor.

Now, we have a couple MBP and we are budgeting purchasing a Mac Pro with a couple of Cinema Displays before the end of this year, we aren't looking for an HD broadcast monitor for various rea$$$$ons, but is it possible to..........
Get a Marshall V-LCD70P-HDMI http://lcdracks.com/monitors/v-lcd70p-hdmi.html monitor and use it a dual purpose? I know that is Half the size and twice the price but the marshall can be taken to the field. That is where I don't know where to go. Both have the blue gun option.
Or........
Once we get the cinema displays use something like this that "is supposed to give you a fair color grading alternative"

I know that I all these things have their use at different steps and in different situations, but then again, we are trying to maximize our budget. If I am just plain crazy thinking that I can do what I want please be kind
Thoughts?
