advice

There are many ways this could be done. If you want the real looking car light through the back window, than yes, towing is the way. I think that the cab was towed and there were a few constant lights. They have a blue light that turns to red on the frame left, soft. The woman in the back seat mostly has a blue rim, frame right. Winona's right rim is mostly red but turns blue sometimes. I would guess that they shot the whole thing a bunch of times, changing colors between shots or even while filming. On car rigs that I have worked on we sometime shoot some on the trailer and then some in the studio. When you go for close ups, you can cheat those shots in the studio. The lights are measured on the trailer and set up the same way in the studio. As far as the lights moving thru the shots we sometimes under-hang lights on that tall Combo stand and spin them over the top of the car.

Thanks!

Could I light something like this with:
4 By 4 bank kino flow- 32K
two 1K Redhead
two 650 tweenies
two 1k Babies
two Inkies

Im going to use the hvx with the brevis and some lenses probably nikons in the 1.2 1.4 regions. Just wondering if this will be sufficient light for a night driving scene. As well if someone could recomend a generator that would handle this stuff and not be extremely expensive.
