Advice on macro...

I'm trying to figure out which route to go for better (closer) macro photos. Currently I just use my Nikon 105mm micro but am starting to look into other options as well. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with extension tubes, bellows, lens stacking, and/or reversing.

I'd also like to know which lenses work best for stacking and reversing, and which order they should be set in?

Thanks,
Allen

I've tried extension tubes with my Nikon 70-200, but found it very difficult to focus. You end up focusing with the zoom, plus they were pretty flimsy and added flex to the mount. I recently got a canon 500D close up lens for my 70-200mm IS and canon 5d, and I am very pleased with the results so far. Here are some shots:

Nice work and thanks for another option to consider. Also, I really like the lighting on the golf ball shot.
