Advice on cranes and 35mm adapters

I've seen some great looking footage on the M2 and Brevis among others on a crane. Music videos and films and the like. Any advice on how best to do this to someone so green? Pulling focus has to be a bit of a nightmare, no?

wireless FF or a long whip. Unless you mean real crane, as in high high shots. If its a jib, its doable.

or keep the app high so infinity goes threw. stopping dow will make more dof so focus is not as critical, but my guess is a wireless FF, you can rent them for not too much.

My advice would be to stick to the wide angle lenses. I shot a music video recently that required a crane shot. We used a 24mm lens successfully without having to adjust focus. The depth of field on that lens is pretty large.

ya, 24 is the way to go, again, just keep the interest of the iamge on things that are near infinity. so like, 10-infinity.

Worksl ike that with the steadicam too, but i can't do dynamic shots without pulling focus. Just tracking.

Yeah, there are times where you should consider the visual result versus the investment of time when deciding to DOF convert or not on the jib.
