Advice needed!

What is most impressive is the fact that a used camera is selling for basically the same price as a new camera.. I know that auction comes with two batteries, but still. Honestly, what other MiniDV has retained the value so well? Incredible.. Makes me feel confident in even buying a new camera today....
 
It really is quite amazing, that in the past 12 months I have only had 3 customers sell me used DVX's. No one else has expressed interest in selling. Some folks upgraded to the 100A from the 100, but boy, since then, it has been dead. I attribute that to folks just not wanting to part with a bonafide moneymaker and dreammaker :laugh:

If you came back from lunch on Friday and someone was in your parking spot, I apologize. I did not see the "reserved for Rush" sign until I left, I promise.

Anyway, it was a madhouse in there on Friday (my first time in the store), so I didn't talk to anyone. Today I came in and purchased one of the Cinetactics Soft Matte Box kits from your store. Anyway, I don't know if you are the one that helped me, but I'll be damned if that wasn't the best service I've had in ANY kind of store in the past 5 or so years. You guys really treat the customer well, and it is appreciated. If it was you that helped me, thanks a lot.

And I will never park in your spot again! (I figured out that Fridays must be your busy day!)

Oh, sorry for the OT post.

I say buy the camera.

Brad it's cool! I am so glad you had a great experience with us, we have a bunch of wonderful creative characters working at that store.:laugh:

It's okay, everyone takes my spot, they think "Reserved for Rush" means that the Parking is reserved for people in a Hurry :grin:

I am waiting for someone to park in the "Reserved for Tommy" spot then come in and tell us "It's okay, I'm a Brit!" :cheesy:

Friday is sheer insanity. No one takes a lunch break, one person goes and gets food for all of us.:) We are expanding the showroom very soon though, and possibly adding a rental window to help the Friday rental crowds.
