Advice matching hmc40 with hmc150?

Hi,
I just ordered 2 hmc150s and an hck10 (similar guts as hmc40).
I would like to know if there are scene files or something available to help match these cameras up for multicamera shoots (weddings, dance in particular). My goal is to eliminate or at least reduce matching in post. The oddball camera will normally be used for wide and creative shots to help hide differences, but the closer I can get them all to match, the easier life will be.
Thank you in advance for any help. I'm excited about learning the new cameras.

I don't know of any; hopefully someone who has done the work and is making it work will post their scene files. They don't normally match up perfectly just by seting the settings the same, you will have to do some work to get them finely matched.

Maybe this will help. I purchased a hmc40 to use as a backpack cam and as a Bcam to a hpx170. When I did so, I wasn't to sure about the matchup, but it really wasn't very difficult if you have some way to do A-B comparisons. As I understand, the hmc150 has the same guts as a 170, but similar to the hmc40, records to the avchd codec which may help.

I started off with a basic outdoor scene file, identical on each cam as a baseline, and shot both cams looking at the same scene. For a scene, i tried to select something that had lots of different colors and dynamic range In my case, I used a nice tv, plugged both in and looked at the differences. A reference monitor would be better, but this isn't about perfect color, it's about making both cams have the same look. I was surprised at how close the two cams were. I began tweaking and then shot again, rinse and repeat. Looking at the colors was pretty important and i probably made the most adjustments to the color settings and to pedestal Of course the hmc40 has an inherently sharper image over the ccd cams so you will want to check your detail also.

The whole process to get a decent match only took me only a few hours once I got my test workflow going. In the end, I thought both cams had similar mojo, the Panny designs really do span across models. All the scene file parameters work the same way, just the scaling of the settings is different.
