Advice for wireless lav system

Read alot good things about the Sennheiser Evolution G2. I see it comes in a variety of frequencies. Which one is best? Is the ME 2 mic the one to get? I see sweetwater has it with the mic plug for $600.

Do you recommend another system? This would be used with a canon XHa1.

I love the g2 for the price. I'm sure a lectro setup would be better but its out of my price range. Sennheiser has chart on their website outlining which freq block the most open based on where you live. I'd ditch the stock mic altogether and get a nicer one like a countryman emw if you budget is tight. A good deal of option on lavs, look at your budget and do some searching.
 
Thanks. i was just reading some other threads, and i guess the included mic is a dog. Thanks for the tip on freq. I'll take a look.
