Hi,
my new client(my old friend) wants to me 2 kind of weekly video for his new website.

one is a kind of tutorial video (I think it's not difficult except lighting)
and another one is simple product video. that is problem.

He think concept like commercial(product with CU, panning, rotating....)
I think it's job for experts and very pricey.
but he has just low budget
and he asked me to make it with not superior, just reasonable quality.(I don't know what is 'reasonable')

I make video for years, but I'm beginner for this kind of product shot
I have HVX and Tripod, small slide-dolly, and plan to buying lighting kit.

Q1. Give me any kind of advice or tips for this work.
camera-movement, or background, zoom, angles....anything.

Q2. Is there any of essential hardwares for this kind video?
I think I need some rotating table(like turntable).
what is need more?

ps. sorry for my bad english, I'm not american.

I have a little experience shooting products

shooting inanimate objects is hard because movement of the subject can hide errors in camera work - inanimate objects just show any error like a sore thumb

A turntable is useful beacuse dollies etc are very hard to create that are good enough for static objects

I built a turntable from a stills tripod tripod and a circular bit of board - creating smooth rotation without a motor driven device is hard :) so I ended up motorising it even placing the product in the centre of the board was a mission

all homebuilt dollies and jib devices failed for products !

a good slider and nice head could be dynamic
