Advantages of M2t? CapDVHS?

Did anyone try this CapDVHS? I have premiere pro, which can capture 25F (pal). Exactly what advantages does m2t have over premiere's regular workflow? I know it's supposed to go easier on the processor, but is there any quality advantage? Like resolution, quality, etC? Also, will it capture different frame rates? progressive, interlaced, F mode, etc.

I just downloaded the CapDVHS. It's free and very very light.
 
The only advantage to an m2t is that you will have the original data stream copied from the camera, that has not been muxed into an mpeg file.

Unless your broadcast station requires Transport streams, it means absolutly nothing.

Also, CapDVHS will not do any framerate tranformations, it will just copy the mpeg-2 stream AS-IS. Usually if you're shooting a 24F mode you'll want the NLE to strip the extra frames and make your clean 23.976 video.
