Quick question that I hope somebody may be able to confirm as soon as you get a moment.
I am capturing a footage for a documentary and the majority of the footage was shot 24pa and captured 29.97 w/ advanced pulldown removal giving me 24p footage. Cool.
But, I have a few reels that were mistakingly shot 29.97 (30p) which were captured the exact same way (I did not uncheck "remove advanced pulldown" in my settings). Am I correct in assuming that I'm ok? And that there is no prob with leaving the "remove advanced pulldown option" checked for capturing 29.97 footage? I'm guessing it should not pose a prob to the footage because obviously there would be no extra frames for FCP to remove.
